Designing the Landscape
Designing the landscape around your house, especially before you try to sell it, utilizes the same principles that we once used as a child when we were drawing a picture of our house. The picket fence and pathways leading to our front door were always included in our pictures. There was, most times, a drawing of a big, leafy tree and some pretty flowers were always included. Wonder why this was true.
Even as a small child, we had a sense of what made us happy. It wasn’t the expensive furniture or even the amount of toys we had; it was the feeling of security and happiness that seem to come from that drawing. Designing your landscape around your house can bring that same set of emotions to any potential buyers that may be considering the possibility of making your house; their house.
