$601,000 check to boost home improvement program
MACHESNEY PARK — A $601,000 grant will help more than a dozen Machesney Park residents make needed home improvements. The village got a check today from the Illinois Housing Development Authority to help eligible homeowners pay for improvements to windows, heating systems, electrical systems, siding, plumbing, roofing and other essential repairs.
