Many people today are going for the rock gardens. They look great and lower the amount of plants you need to use. They also require less maintenance as far as watering etc. Even the plants that DO go with a rock garden, are usually the types that require less care themselves from just ordinary plants. So your rock gardens can be work savers as well as money savers.

Designing the landscape around your house, especially before you try to sell it, utilizes the same principles that we once used as a child when we were drawing a picture of our house. The picket fence and pathways leading to our front door were always included in our pictures. There was, most times, a drawing of a big, leafy tree and some pretty flowers were always included. Wonder why this was true.

Even as a small child, we had a sense of what made us happy.
